First Day of School (and Jasmine's Tooth!)

There is nothing like the first day of school!

We have a tradition of giving the teacher a nice red apple on the first day.

And of course he had to do a silly one.

At this time Taye had a habit of posing for pictures by holding his crotch happily. 

Strange but true, and funny.

Aren't they the best ever?  I don't know, Shayden's face could go either way, like he wants to torment her or take care of her.

Reuniting with friends after a summer away.  Since they go to a charter school, they really don't get to see these friends when school is out, because they live all over the area, not just right in the same neighborhood.

And as if the first day of school wasn't exciting enough, Jasmine lost a tooth there too!!  We had been trying to get this tooth to come all summer long!  Too bad it wasn't her first tooth, because then we could have said that Jasmine lost her first tooth on the first day of first grade. Second tooth just doesn't sounds as fun.
