My Birthday...courtesy of DisneyLand and Jetblue!

When I found out that Disney was giving FREE admission on your birthday this year, I knew I had to get in on the deal! Especially since I had never been and especially since I share a birthday with my wonderful mom and especially because we both fly free on Jetblue!

What made it even better is that my dad decided to come along too and spoil us! It was a fantastic day full of sooo many memories that I will never forget. I feel soooo lucky to have such great parents and be able to do these kinds of things with them. We had so much fun gawking at everything like little children. The only bad thing about this day is that I didn't get to share it with Jonas and the kids but Jonas was soooo wonderful to support me and let me go! He stayed home and took care of all three kids so that I could do this. He even threw me an AMAZING birthday party on the weekend before my birthday, more on that later ;)
Here are some picture of our day trip (from 7am-10pm):

Me and my "first time" and "happy birthday" pins!
Of all princesses we stumbled upon Jasmine on our way off of a ride! Perfect.
We seriously were on the go every moment that we were there. The only time we stopped was to eat our packed lunches for about 20 minutes. Can you believe I did not even spend one penny there??? hee hee (btw I bought a bunch of Disney stuff for my kids before going so they were happy as could be with their "souvenirs"!

I finally convinced my mom to wear her Happy Birthday pin!

What a great day!

Our Easter Week Experience

We had a wonderful Easter week. We had a great intro family home evening on the Monday prior, and posted our pictures of the last week of the Savior's life. We didn't get to do the daily little "devotional" type thing as well as I would have liked, but we did review them here and there. We also had our Love One Another wall where we wrote nice little notes to each other throughout the week. The kids loved reading these out loud on Sunday!

We also dyed Easter Eggs:

And the Easter Bunny did visit on Saturday:After which we went on some egg hunts. A huge one on the baseball field,And another one at the UofU.
But the highlight was making our special Easter cookies on Saturday night. This was the first time Jonas was able to participate and that made it so much better. We taped the oven closed that night and went to bed without eating them. Then in the morning, Jonas accidentally turned on the oven to warm it up, completely forgetting about the cookies and burned most of them! Oh well, the important part was in making them. Here we are with the taped up oven.

And here are my Easter cuties:

Trip to Boston/Charlotte's Web

This is long overdue but a few weeks ago we flew over to Boston to see my brother and niece in the play Charlotte's Web. Their stake was putting it on and it was a huge production. They did such a great job but unfortunately I failed to charge my camara's battaries so I went to take pictures, and couldn't. I was so bummed.

So I don't have any of my niece but here are a few with my brother, who played Homer Zuckerman. It was a really big part and he totally nailed it. (He's in the overalls.)

Build a Bear

Doing such a good job of putting the baby to sleep in the car that she put herself to sleep too. This has happened to both older kids now!

Oh how he loves his big sister!

The cruelest joke that was played on us at April Fools this year was by Mother Nature. However, it did give Jasmine a chance to use her umbrella she got for Christmas.

This is the machine, that plugs into the wall...

that goes in the nose, that sucks the snot, that keeps the baby up at night!

What you can't really see is the brand on this baby, it's "Shuco" which ironically means kind of like "gross" in Spanish. How fitting.
Does anyone else have a machine like this at their pediatrician's office?
